Featured Projects - Lorig Real Estate Development & Management Services
Lorig Real Estate Development & Management Services selected Davis Design to develop branding and marketing materials for Rainier Place, Edmonds Community College’s new student housing building.
Scope: Develop logo, letterhead, folder, tri-fold brochure, postcard, signage, website
Objective: Lorig came to Davis Design for a hip yet sophisticated brand to promote on-campus student living. Designs needed to appeal to a young, diverse student population while at the same time instilling a sense of confidence, security and trust in their parents.
Solution: Working with minimal photography and only illustrations of the building, Davis Design used color, shapes and graphic elements to bring personality to the piece. Throughout the materials, the bold blue and green colors reflect high energy, fun and approachability, while the brown is associated with hearth, home and stability.
Testimonial: Says Lorig’s Marketing Director, Meghan Hill, “We interviewed several design firms for the Rainier Place project. Davis Design came highly recommended to us. They took the time to understand our goals and desired flavor for the development. Their pricing was very competitive and most of all, I felt like they would be fun to work with!”

 Featured Projects - Ecofab
Ecofab is all about healthy, efficient, responsive homes. Their development and energy conservation services focus on sustainability in homes and communities. They recently added a new service – energy refits.
Scope: Brand Identity, logo design, business collateral, print materials, signage, e-newsletter and website.
Objective: To create a brand and marketing materials that promotes healthy, sustainable living through modular homes and energy refits.
Solution: Davis Design partnered with Parsons Public Relations and took the company through an extensive brand strategy program to find the right “voice,” color palette and fonts for Ecofab.
We designed a logo where the icon visually communicates what they do. The combination of the two shapes represent home and nature coming together as one – putting the “old school” modular homes to shame. Davis Design chose classic gray, which communicates durability, trust and dependability, and orange for its vitality and warmth. Likewise, fonts were chosen that are approachable and friendly.
Testimonial: Callie Ridolfi, Ecofab’s Managing Director, says about Davis Design, “We chose them because they listen, collaborate and respond with beautiful creative results in a focused and timely manner.” She emphasizes that the team “takes our mission and goals to heart and produces electronic and print materials that add substantial value to our brand.” Ecofab continues to work with Davis Design on related projects and causes.

 Featured Projects - Shirey Contracting
Shirey Contracting, award winning remodeler and custom builder, is known for creative design-build solutions like the Zero Energy Idea House .
Objective: Restructure the company website for search engine optimization (SEO).
Solution: We applied SEO best practices to the website- updating local online listings, sitemap creation, adding specific URL, H1 and title tags to all pages. We also created meta tags, keywords and breadcrumb trails. Concurrently, we set up online ads to test keyword relevancy (Google, MSN and Yahoo) with a specific landing page to track results. Davis Design continues to work with Shirey to refine keyword usage and placement throughout the site, and organic search results show an upward trend. Our upcoming project with Shirey is to create a stronger online presence through social networking.
